This page spotlights just a few of my commercial and small business clients, large and small.

UniFirst Corporation of Portland

UniFirst is one of America's "big four" uniform and textile supply companies. The Portland office serves customers ranging from Lincoln County to Northern New Hampshire. I am proud to have assisted UniFirst with business disputes and collections throughout its territory since 1998.

Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution

SBSI is a strong local lender based in York County, Maine. My work for the bank is mainly in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

LearningWorks

LearningWorks is a prominent social service agency whose low-income housing program manages ten buildings around Portland. I have helped them resolve tenant problems since 2004.

Mailings Unlimited

Paul and Jon started small . . . and they have worked to grow it into three straight appearances on Inc. Magazine's list of the fastest growing privately held companies in the country. Mailings Unlimited has been a client since 2002.

Bill's Painting

Bill is a small-business owner and a good guy. He doesn't need much lawyering. I've been there on those rare occasions when I'm needed since 2000.

Upton Bass started in Gary's garage.  Today it is the second-largest double-bass-building shop in the United States, and proudly imported high-skill jobs from Eastern Europe.  It has been my personal and professional pleasure to have represented Upton Bass since 2004.

I serve:

*     Lenders in all courts, in arbitration and in mediation

*     Businesses which are owed money

*     Landlords

*     Small and single-owner businesses

*     Other attorneys as local counsel
